100 horses safe from slaughter; now they need homes

Cream Ridge, NJ – 1/7/2022 – The Standardbred Retirement Foundation started with a mountain in front of us, over 100 harness racing trotters and pacers tagged for slaughter, tonight those tags come off! Every one of these horses is now SAFE!

Getting this done took a heartwarming community of generous horse lovers, and to every one of them, every one of us sends our thanks. The Standardbred Retirement Foundation, (SRF) is taking on the quarantine and care of the remaining as there are a few applications pending for adoption and foster, and SRF hopes more offers are coming. That is how it will really get completed.
