The lightly raced four-year-old Merry Dancer signalled a good week for the progeny of former NZ champion Changeover when she out-finished her rivals at Melton to notch her maiden success.
Changeover sired a pair of Albion Park winners in Deus Ex NZ (1:52.3) and Raani (1:58). The former is undefeated in two outings this season and boasts career earnings of over $115,000.
He was also represented by a winning double at Redcliffe with the three-year-olds Mullum Guido, who completed back-to-back successes, and a ānewā winner in Mullum Doc.
Jaccka Ted, a NZ bred gelding by Changeover, notched his 15th win from 37 starts, winning in a 1:55.8 rate over 1800 metres at Globe Derby Park.
Other recent winners by the Burwood Stud sire have been Whereyagoinbabe (Mildura) and the North American victors La Bella Vita NZ (1:53.4, The Meadowlands) and Sudden Change NZ (1:55.8, Miami Valley Raceway).
