Yonkers cancels after first race

Due to poor track conditions, Yonkers Raceway management canceled the live harness racing card Thursday evening after the first race.

Woodmere Skyroller and driver Scot Zeron were able to wire the field in the $11,500 first race pace, winning with ease by two and one-quarter lengths in 1:57.2, paying $3.60 to win. After a delay the rest of the race program was canceled.
