WASHINGTON, PA, Feb. 9, 2022 — She needed multiple moves to achieve it, but Cay’s Blessing collected her fourth straight harness racing victory in Wednesday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Cay’s Blessing grabbed the early lead from post 5 but was shuffled slightly to third. She reclaimed the top with an uncovered backside burst but even then, wasn’t home free, as she was challenged in the lane by All Day Sunshine and Leave Her Wild.

The 8-year-old daughter of Western Ideal-Life’s Blessings persevered for driver Dave Palone and triumphed in 1:53. All Day Sunshine was second, beaten a length, with Leave Her Wild third.

Scott Betts trains Cay’s Blessing ($4.00), who extended her career bankroll to $260,874, for Tim Betts and Tar Heel Racing.
