Swan In Motion continues winning ways

Swan In Motion rallied along the rail and won the $26,000 Open Handicap Trot at Dover Downs on Tuesday night.

Northern Express and Swan In Motion both left the gate in unison trotting to the quarter. Driver Art Stafford Jr settled for the pocket trip with Swan In Motion after parking out Northern Express and Russell Foster to the quarter in a blistering :27.

Northern Express continued on the engine reaching the half in a relaxed :56.1. Ginger Tree Skyr raced 1st over down the backstretch. Remarkable De Vie followed in the 2nd over position. Race favorite Quiksilvr Bluechip remained along the rail throughout the trip.

Northern Express continued on an uncontested lead, reaching the three quarters in 1:25.

Swan In Motion darted along the passing lane and won by three quarters of a length in 1:54. He paid $8.00 for the win.

SWAN IN MOTION REPLAY

Swan In Motion (Swan For All) won his 3rd consecutive race at Dover Downs. He is owned by Howard Taylor of Philadelphia, PA. Dylan Davis is the trainer. Northern Express cut the mile and finished 2nd for trainer Arty Foster.
Quiksilvr Bluechip was 3rd for trainer/driver Victor Kirby.

Tony Morgan had 3 driving wins on the betting card.

There is a $1,714 pick 5 carryover for Wednesday night beginning on the 6th race.
