Young harness racing driver Grace Panella will be hoping for a repeat at Armidale today.
The 19-year-old drove a treble at that track last Sunday and has five drives across Armidaleās Carnival Of Cups meeting today.
Panellaās main drive is Thundamental in the feature of the day, the Armidale Cup.
Thundamental was one of Panellaās winners last week after winning a heat of the Armidale Cup by more than eight metres.
The lightly-raced gelding has had seven starts for four wins, with three of those victories with Panella behind the reins.
Trained by Ian Mabbott, Thundermental has drawn ideally in barrier one for the feature. Defending champion, trainer Dayl March has a two-pronged attack in the feature with last yearās winner Clintal Do and Our Major Day.
Trainer Andrew Ison also has dual runners with Im Compliant and Overthemoon.
Meanwhile, Fridayās meeting at Riverina Paceway that was postponed will go ahead today.
There are four heats of the Riverina Championship with $100,000 finals to be held on April 16.
Some changes have been made to the postponed meeting including reinsman Jack Trainor not participating today.
The horseman still has two horses racing heats of the Riverina Championship, however, is not driving as he is flying out to New Zealand with his mare Stylish Memphis to contest The Race at Cambridge Raceway on Thursday.
Stylish Memhpis has drawn barrier one in the $900,000NZ slot race.
