CHESTER, PA – The Bolt The Duer gelding Imoutthedoor, a star in Iowa at two and three, is continuing his development on the East Coast at four, taking the $14,400 featured pace at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Friday afternoon while lowering his mark by almost three seconds to 1:51.1.
Tim Tetrick (whose three triumphs on the day led all drivers) hustled the 21-time career winner to the lead before the :27.4 opening quarter, then ceded the lead to the brushing favorite Meet The Creeper, who led the field through the next two splits in :56.1 and 1:23.3.
It was just these two who stood a chance as they turned for home, and Imoutthedoor was full of pace after the dream journey, winning by 1¾ lengths for trainer Rob Harmon and owner Cathy Dessert.
