No one can catch Talk Show Chica in Open

Talk Show Chica (Heston Blue Chip) took the featured $12,000 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 18).

Talk Show Chica ($9.10) with harness racing driver Corey Braden and Primo Extremo (Tyler Jones) battled all the way to the first quarter as Talk Show Chica got there first in :26.1.  Primo Extremo had the lead with a lap to go but couldn’t clear Talk Show Chica.

Talk Show Chica was first to the half in :53.3.  The Charging Moa (Mike Merton) was the next to make a move going first-over but Talk Show Chica shook her off and led to three-quarters in 1:22.3.

As they made the turn for home Talk Show Chica continued to be in command and won easily in 1:52.4.  Primo Extremo held on for second as Shadow One (Aaron Byron) came up to finish third.

Talk Show Chica is owned by Braden and trained by Stacey McLenghan.  It was her third win this season.  She now has 14 career victories.

TALK SHOW CHICA REPLAY

Wally Hennessey and Aaron Byron had driving triples on the night.  Joe Skowyra and Jim McDonald each boasted training doubles.

Tioga Downs returns to Live racing on Sunday (June 19) with a 13-race card starting at 1:00 p.m.
