Philadelphia, Pa–Speed was the order of the day at Harrah’s Chester when two pacing events went postward resulting in a1:51.1 victory by Smokin By N (Mach Three) followed by a 1:52.3 triumph by Dream Out Loud N (Bettor’s Delight) making them among the fastest amateur harness racing contests this season.
Jonathan Ahle was up behind Smokin By N while Tony Beltrami handled the driving chores with Dream Out Loud N.
In his contest Ahle settled in behind Beltrami’s, Cat, heading to the quarter in :26.2 but he didn’t stay there long and sent his Smokin By N to the lead at the half in :55.0. From there Ahle opened up five lengths on his competition and at the top of the lane Smokin By N had seven lengths on his competition which was opened to 11 lengths at the wire.
Cat was second at the top of the lane but was overtaken for the place money by Preppy Art (John Calabrese).

Similarly in the other AHDC pace, Dream Out Loud N and Beltrami zipped to the lead from the eight-hole and led their competition by the first stanza in :27.3. From there Dream Out Loud led the charge by the half in :56.4 and they took command at the three-quarters in 1:24.2. But Dream Out Loud was not done as he reached down for a :28.3 final quarter to trip the timer in 1:52.3.
Bytheway Hanover rallied to finish second for Cote Keim and Lindythefourteenth garnered the show dough for Kuni Erzene.
