Michael Boots is fast becoming one of the most recognised harness racing owners around Australia.
The Leeton-based businessman has an undeniable passion for harness racing and an ability to find himself quality horseflesh, which are winning Boots many races.

One horse that holds a special place in his heart is Bundoran (Lincoln Royal), who will take its place in the Group 3 Rain Saver Water Systems Vic Frost Free-For-All at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Saturday night, drawing ideally in barrier two.
Trained by Amanda Turnbull, Bundoran has given Boots and co-owner Jenny Turnbull some exciting moments since arriving from New Zealand in early 2021, the most notable being contesting both the Inter Dominion Final and the Miracle Mile.
Bundoran returned to racing a fortnight ago following a short spell, running a solid third placing and trainer Turnbull is confident the son of Lincoln Royal is close to being back to his best.
“His run first up was super,” said Turnbull.
“He went close to winning against a similar field to the one he meets on Saturday night.
“His gate two draw gives me options on where I can place him early.
“There is a lot of speed drawn around us, but he just likes to relax in his races and then come with a late surge.
“He had a great campaign last time around.
“He competed in and won some nice races and it will be nice if he can bounce back into the winner’s circle on Saturday night.
“Mick [Boots] is a really staunch supporter of my stable and hopefully Bundoran is just the first of many good ones we can race together.”
