100,000€ Challenge du Trot to Hohneck

Hohneck (5m Royal Dream-Caranca) controlled the pace as the 6/10 odds favorite and comfortably won today’s (July 10) Gr. II Prix Com de Com de Thierache du Centre at La Capelle, France (Challenge du Trot a Grande Vitesse, purse 100,000€, 1609 meters autostart, 4-10 year olds) timed in 1.11.4kr (mile time 1:54.8).

Francois Lagadeuc teamed this Philippe Allaire owned and trained winner of 16 races now for 998,790€ earned. Jean Pierre Guay bred this one.

Delia du Pommereux (9f Niky) was two lengths back second for David Thomain, trainer Benoit Robin and owner Noel Lolic, off at 4.8/1 odds. The 25/1 Hussard du Landret (5m Bird Parker) was third for owner/trainer/driver Benoit Robin.

Calle Crown (8m Great Challenger) was fourth with Pierre Vercruysse at the lines for trainer Tomas Malmqvist after a game parked the distance journey. Violetto Jet, Mister F Daag and Dorgos de Guez completed the top seven.
