Yacht Seelster (Shadow Play) tipped his career earnings total over $400,000 in a convincing victory over Preferred harness racing opposition at Grand River Raceway on Wednesday (Jul. 14).
Casimir Richie P (Beau Brown) sped to the lead into the first turn, but Tyler Moore pushed Yacht Seelster to top speed and got the stallion to the front by the quarter in :28.1. The latter headed his seven foes to the half in :56.3.
Yacht Seelster continued to three-quarters in 1:25 with little pressure after the first-over rivalās break and sailed down the stretch to win in 1:53.2.
Casimir Richie P finished second by two-and-a-half lengths. Champagne Phil (Natasha Day) was third. The winner returned $6.10.

Yacht Seelster has 23 tallies and a $403,904 bankroll in 136 lifetime starts. Paul Kleinpaste of Orangeville, William Alempijevic of Forest Hills, and Garth Bechtel of Meaford co-own the seven-year-old with trainer Donald Lindsey of Fergus.
Grand River Raceway returns to racing on Friday, Jul. 15 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. The 10-race card features leg 2A of the Prospect Series for two-year-old pacing colts.
