The talented Changeover gelding Yianni earned a new speed badge of 1:51.7 when he emerged successful at harness racing’s Menangle track recently.
It was his 10th success and lifted his stake tally to beyond $130,000.
Changeover sired winners in three different States, both islands of NZ and in North America in the past fortnight.
Tiz A Sizzler, a NZ bred son of Changeover, maintained his devastating form winning in 1:55.2 at Albion Park, his 10th success from only 20 starts.
Other recent Australian winners by Changeover have been the Menangle victor Isla’s Joy NZ ((1:54.4), Overpowering (1:56.4), Changingoftheguard (1:59.2), the three-year-old filly Explanation Noted (1:59.5), Just Ralph (1:59.8) and Justanextragrand.
In NZ, Changeover was represented by the 1:59.2 Auckland winner Zarias and Shard’s Fury (Addington), while The Charging Moa NZ scored in 1:54 at Tioga Downs, New York.
Changeover, who stands at Burwood Stud in Queensland, has sired 79 individual winners to date this season and progeny earnings of almost $1.4 million.
He has sired the winners of $18.6 million lifetime.
