Grand River cancels Wednesday program

Grand River Raceway canceled its Wednesday (Aug. 3) harness racing card due to unsafe track conditions.

It announced the decision via Twitter at 6:40 p.m. EDT, 10 minutes after the listed first post time.

RACING CANCELLED TONIGHT!
Due to unsafe track conditions caused by the weather

We’ll see you Friday at 6.30pm!

The track’s next card is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. The Prospect Series leg 3B, which was scheduled for the Wednesday card, will be contested as a non-wagering event prior to that program.
