What Should I Goo shatters track record

What Should I Goo (Googoo Gaagaa) opened the harness racing card at Ocean Downs sweeping in like a hurricane in the lone $25,425 division of the Maryland Standardbred Fund for sophomore trotting fillies.

Reinsman Russell Foster sent What Should I Goo down the pike to an impressive 11 length victory, shattering the Ocean Downs track record for three-year-old trotting fillies in the 1:55.4 mile. The previous record of 1:57 had been set in 2016.

Jennifer Bongiorno trains the winner for Ken Jacobs, Richard Hans is the breeder. Delaware champion She’s All Woman (Anders Bluestone) closed well to take the place position.

In the $15,625 first of two splits for the three-year-old pacing colts and geldings, Russell Foster picked up his second stakes win of the night when he piloted Bad And Boujee (Badlands Hanover) to a 6 ½ length win over Donnys All In (Rusty’s All In) stopping the clock in 1:54.4. Eric Foster owns, trains and bred the winner.

The $15,835 final three-year-old stake of the Maryland season was the second division of the colt and gelding pacers.

Driver Marcus Miller made his first drive at the ocean oval a winning one behind Flip My Chip (Heston Blue Chip) trained by Erv Miller for the Erv Miller Stable Inc. and Sara Miller. Winbak farm is the breeder. Maryland champion Anthonys All In (Rusty’s All In) finished second in the 1:54.3 mile.

The opening of the two-year-old stakes season at Ocean Downs is on Monday August 8th.
