Stud partnership develops new trotting feature races

Following the news that Cobbitty Equine Farm will stand three trotting stallions this breeding season, the new collaboration between Haras des Trotteurs and the Sydney-based operation features the launch of two new feature harness races for two-year-old trotters.

The Haras des Trotteurs-Cobbitty Equine Farm Classic will showcase $75,000 finals for colts/geldings, as well as a $75,000 fillies to be run at Menangle.

To be eligible,  two-year-olds must be the result of mares being served in Australia or New Zealand this season by one of Haras des Trotteurs’ 13 roster stallions – On A Streak, and the French-bred band of Bird Parker, Bold Eagles, Brillantissime, Classic Connection, Eridan, En Solitaire, Love You, Orlando Vici, Quaker Jet, Timoko, The Best Madrik and Used To Me.

The trotting stallions standing at Cobbitty Equine Farm are On A Streak and Classic Connection while Used To Me will stand at Cobbitty Equine Farm’s Queensland base.
