HARRINGTON, DE – Brenda Teague’s Anneke (Southwind Lynx, $4.20, Pat Berry) and David Hamm and Rodney Long’s Movin On Up (Bettor’s Delight, $2.80, Allan Davis) were co-feature harness racing winners in their respective $20,000 Open divisions Monday (Aug. 15) at Harrington Raceway.
Anneke, a 6-year-old mare was a wire-to-winner in the Mares Open in 1:54.4 over Designed To Dance and Rock N Shard. It was her 4th win of the season as her seasonal earnings ballooned to more than $91,000 for owner/trainer Teague.

Meanwhile, Movin On Up was a 1:52.4 winner off a pocket trip behind pacesetter Mack. Mack did the heavy lifting throughout before a late stretch kick saw Movin On Up’s nose hit the wire first in a narrow margin of victory over the pacesetter. Major Betts was third.
It was the 9th win of the year for Movin On Up, who is trained by Chuck Crissman Jr. The 7-year-old gelding has banked nearly $170,000 this year. It was one of 3 wins on the card for Davis, 2 for trainer Crissman Jr. Tony Morgan had a driving double.

The live racing schedule at Harrington will remain on a Monday, Tuesday time frame until September 5 when the schedule shifts to Monday through Wednesday until October 19. Post time nightly is 4:30 p.m.
