Moni Viking circles field to win 1,500,000SEK Gr. I Aby Stora Pris

Moni Viking (9m Maharajah-Jounese Doree-Coktail Jet-Sweet Young Think) trailed the field throughout until starting a winning move in the final bend to secure the Aby Stora Pris (3140 meters autostart, 1,500,000SEK to the winner, Gr I International). Under guidance of driver-trainer Bjorn Goop the noted Jan Lyng owned marathon expert swept past the field to win easily in 1.12.5kr.

This victory improved his 63 race slate to 16-9-12 for 10,248,162SEK earned. The pacesetter Hail Mary (6m Googoo Gaagaa-Dreams-Victory Dream) held second for Orjan Kihlstrom with third to Oracle Tile (6m Ready Cash-Exotic Sund-Credit Winner) with Kristian Maimin up.

MONI VIKING REPLAY

On the Aby undercard the Ragnare Thrngrens Memorial (220,000SEK first prize, 2140 meters autostart) went to 1.11.0kr timed Calypso di Poggio (4f Ready Cash-Princess America-Androver Hall) for Jorjen Sjunnesson and trainer Erik Bondo. The winner now has a 6-5-1 slate in 23 starts. Her dam is a half-sister to international star Lisa America. In this event Edibear was second forStefan Persson and Full Of Muscles took third for Rikard N. Skoglund.
