Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 6:01pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Private Eye (7) Nice third last start but tricky draw. Needs luck but can win
Four Kisses (4) Has a bit of form on board and should be thereabouts in this
Riverboy Ben (5) Out of form but has a decent motor. One for longer odds

Race 2

KD Royalty (14) Draw against but good enough to beat these with luck in the running
Kowhai Sunset (5) Stable change and raced ok in the South. Likely to be running on
Safrakova (9) Good beginner who should get a run through early. Place chances best

Race 3

Amazing Me (1) Trial looked good and Southern driver hops on. Hard to beat from the draw
No Added Sugar (3) Ran ok last start and should be improved. Winning claims
My Copy (9) Some tidy runs on his last campaign and fence draw suits. Could surprise fresh

Race 4

The Lawman (10) Last two starts good and will be running on. Manners only concern
Mont Blanc (8) Has ability but has been making mistakes early. Goes close with no errors
Aldebaran Pippi (5) Racing well without luck against age group. Can run top three

Race 5

Rocknroll Hammer (7) Impressive fresh up and Herlihy chooses this one. Needed
Two Eye See (10) Racing well without luck. Could surprise at big money here
Kahlua Flybye (4) Drawn well and has a big reputation. One of the better chances in this

Race 6

Cyclone Lucky Linda (2) Racing well and gets a head start on the favourites. Top selection
Ruby Ridge (3) Has been slightly disappointing but better than that. Include here
Special Way (5) A bit one paced but draw advantage on stablemates. Can win

Race 7

Ultimate Missile (3) Good beginner who should head forward early. Winning claims
Miki Noel (5) Will be improved after last start second. Big motor so needed here
Take The Miki (8) Goes ok on the track but tricky draw. Might still be too good

Race 8

Old Town Road (4) Has ability and trialling well. Hard to beat with manners
Rough And Ready (5) Ok last start and normally steps quickly. Could surprise
Bad Medicine (1) Good stepper and he could place at longer odds in this

Race 9

Emma Frost (8) Racing well and better suited in this field. Good winning chance
Alana (1) Manners a concern but drawn to trail. Place chance at longer odds
Aldebaran Flame (9) In good form and weaker field here. Can run top three
