Century Mach (Jk Royal Flush) added a 13th victory to her four-year-old harness racing campaign as she made her second start back from layoff in the Fillies and Mares Open Pace at Fraser Downs on Thursday (Sep. 15).
She controlled the three-hole from the first quarter ā stepped in :27.1 ā through the half in :57.3 and shifted into gear on the backstretch for Kelly Hoerdt to assail the leader.
Century Mach, looming first-over, piled on pressure to three-quarters in 1:25.3 and overpowered the leader as they straightened for the line. She muscled away to a two-length margin and a 1:53.4 billing as she sealed the victory.
Danzig To Dharma (Rod Therres) overtook pacesetter Glimpseofgoodness (John Abbott) late for the place cheque.
