Truro Raceway cancels Sunday race card

Truro Raceway is cancelling the live harness racing card that was previously postponed from Friday evening to Sunday, September 25th.

Though relatively light damage compared to other areas of the county, province, and Atlantic region, there are safety hazards on the track right now that prevent us from safely moving forward with a race card.

We are grateful that no serious injuries have been reported so far and that our buildings and barns are intact with the exception of some doors and siding. Some trees have fallen across/onto the track and other areas of fence will need to be fixed as well.
