La Bella Vita NZ in top form in America

The Changeover mare La Bella Vita NZ has been racing in career best form in North America.

The six-year-old took a new lifetime mark of 1:51.6 at Plainridge Park, Massachusetts on September 29, 10 days after winning in 1:52.4 at Saratoga Raceway, New York. 

La Bella Vita has now earned $US179,634, of which $US115,450 has been won in 2022. She has won nine with six placings in 24 starts this season.

Another pair of Changeover’s New Zealand progeny, Bronze Over (1:55.2) and Slate (1:58), prevailed at Saratoga Raceway and Charlottetown Driving Park, Prince Edward Island respectively.

Recent Australian winners sired by Changeover include Awayovernight NZ, Kusanova NZ and Mission Glory. 

Changeover has lifetime progeny earnings of more than $19 million.
