Four groupe level trots took place this weekend at Paris-Vincennes. On Friday evening the Prix Pierre Van Trotten (Gr. III, purse 80,000€, 2700 meters for 4-5 year olds) went to 1.6/1 odds Haziella d’Amour (5f Un Amour d’Haufor-Super Greziella) with Alexandre Abrivard up for trainer L.Cl. Abrivard as she recorded her fifth career victory now for 214,800€ earned.
Horse Dream (5m Scipion du Goutier) was second for trainer/driver Pierre Belloche with third to 1.4/1 favorite Hinden (5m Tresor Wic) handled by Franck Nivard.
In the Gr. III Prix Olry Roederer (monte four year olds, 80,000€ purse, 2850 meters) the 6/10 odds favorite Intuition (4f Brillantissime-Combattante) held gamely for the 1.12.7kr timed victory with Adrian Lamy in the irons for trainer Tomas Malmqvist, owner Ecurie du Londel and breeder Louis Baudron.
Ideale du Chene (4f Bird Parker-Royale du Chene) was second at 5.9/1 for jockey P.Ph. Ploquin and trainer Julien Le Mer. Indigo du Porey (4m Dollar Macker) was third for Eric Raffin.
On Saturday the Prix Victor Regis (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters for three year olds) saw 2.5/1 Juninho Dry (3m Carat Williams-Delicatessen) score in 1.12.1kr for pilot P.Ph. Ploquin, trainer Sebastien Guarato and Ecurie Dry. This was the winner’s sixth career victory now for 310,720€ earned.
The 9/10 favorite Jack Tonic (3m Charly du Noyer) was second for Theo Duvaldestin with Jakartas des Pres (3m Scipion du Goutier) third handled by Maxime Bezier.
The three-year-old females contested the Prix Uranie (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters) with that victory to 6.8/1 odds Just Love You (3f Love You-Just In Love) timed in 111.4kr. Alexandre Abrivard was the winning pilot for trainer L.C. Abrivard and owner Michele Bliard as their filly secured her sixth career victory now for 176,250€ earned.
The 32/1 longshot Jeep du Pont (3f Vivaldo Bello) was second for owner/trainer/driver J.G. Van Eeckhaute, with 7/1 Joyful Diva (3f Sam Bourbon) third to the line with Franck Ouvrie teaming.
