Late rally wins 256,300€ Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli

Diamond Francis (3m Explot Caf-Fashion dei Sogni-Lemon Dra) rallied late in the lane at 5.9/1 odds to win the Pr Paolo Orsini Orsi Mangelli in Torino, Italy (purse 256,300€, 1600 meters autostart) timed in 1.12.1kr.

V.P. dell’Annunziata teamed the winner that started from post three after earlier today winning his elimination. The 1.83/1 odds favorite Gio Cash (3m Victor Gio-Give Me Love-Judge Joe) held for second from post one reined by Gabriel Gelormini.  The 9/1 Doge As (3m Psacia’Lest-No Limits Gar-Pine Chip) was third with Antonio Di Nardo at the lines. Dubhe Prav was fourth at 13/1 and 13.2/1 Joyner Sport ended fifth.

In the Orsi Mangelli Filly (purse 88,000€, 1600 meters autostart) the 12.2/1 odds Daughter As (3f Father Patrick-Highland Image-Andover Hall) scored in 1.11.5kr with Pietro Gubellini up.

This one was raced without shoes and rallied strongly in the lane. Her second dam is SJ’s Image, a daughter of Balanced Image-Sassy Jane, the latter the dam of SJs Photo. The 1.4/1 favorite Deliicious Gar (3f Father Patrick-Nakitast-Toss Out) was second with Alessandro Gocciadoro aboard. Doni Maker (3f Yankee Slide-Urban Jangle-Ganymede)  finished third ahead of Doyourbest (3f Walner) and Don’t Say Gar (3f Varenne).
