None Bettor A continues winning ways

Fresh off his impressive harness racing victory in the $250,000 Aria Invitational on Oct. 22, None Bettor A (Bettor’s Delight) scored again, this time taking the $33,000 Open Handicap Pace Monday (Nov. 7) at Yonkers Raceway.

It was Oakwoodnitownit IR (Scott Zeron) first on the lead and they held off None Bettor A (Matt Kakaley) until the first quarter in :26.4.

No one made a move as they raced to the half mile in :55.4. Then in the backstretch, Nandolo N (Jason Bartlett) came first-over with Always And Again (Brent Holland) second-over to the three-quarters in 1:23.3.

Swinging around the final turn and heading for home, it became a two-horse race but None Bettor A was just too strong, holding off Oakwoodnitownit IR by a neck in 1:51.3. Nandolo N was third.

NONE BETTOR A REPLAY

It was the second straight win and eighth victory on the year for None Bettor A. The nine-year-old gelding is trained by Travis Alexander for the Joe P Racing, LLC and Oldford Racing, LLC. He paid $3.00 to win as the betting favorite.
