Progress Pace draws 12, elims on Thursday

Hightstown, NJ — The Progress Pace for 3-year-old male harness racing pacers at Bally’s Dover attracted 12 horses, leading to two $35,000 eliminations divisions Thursday, November 17. The top-four finishers from each elim will advance to the Nov. 23 final at Dover.

In the first elimination, Vicious will start from post one with Energetic Hanover (Captaintreacherous), Ario Hanover (Captaintreacherous), Night Hawk (Betting Line), Market Based (Sweet Lou), and Fourever Boy (Sweet Lou) lining up to his outside.

The second elimination finds Breeders Crown champion Pebble Beach (Downbytheseaside) starting from post two, with Mad Max Hanover (Always B Miki) to his inside and Birthday (Sweet Lou), Captain Cowboy (Captaintreacherous), I Did It Myway (Captaintreacherous), and Beach Glass (Somebeachsomewhere) to his outside.

Racing begins at 4:30 p.m. (EST) Thursday. The Progress Pace eliminations are races eight and 12 on the 15-race card.

The final of the $350,000 Progress Pace will be held on Wednesday, November 23.
