Premier harness racing hits Addington again today (Dec. 4) for a great day of Group Ones. The racing starts at 12:15pm and we highlight the card detailing every horse and its chances on the big day.

Race 1 HARNESS RACING UNHINGED MOBILE PACE $20,000, 3YO & OLDER R50 TO R57, 1980m

1 Bettor Believe It  Drawn well but outside place chance at best in this field. Will be at longer odds
2 Invitation Only Better draw for this race and top driver booked. Could surprise with the right run
3 Show Me Heaven Getting better with racing and inside draw an advantage here. Include in exotics
4 Celtic Spirit  Has gate speed and top run on Cup Day. Has to rate highly if he can find the front
5 Classy Dancer Wider draw but does have gate speed. Would have to go forward to be any chance
6 Stephs Boy Has gate speed and could go forward early. Chance at longer odds with luck
7 Shanika Drawn wide and hard to see her getting into the race from there. Leaving for now
8 Kikorangi Blue Another with gate speed who is an on pace runner. Not the worst with luck
9 Teds Legacy Tricky draw but has been racing well. Meets a strong field here though. Leaving

10 Coachella Unlikely to get a start in this. Has ability but will need plenty of luck.
11 Casino Action Not a great draw for him as he goes better on speed. Place chances best
12 Dancing Desire Might not get a start and hard to see her in the money. Risking
13 Tiger Taylor Will probably get back in the running and might struggle from there.
14 Rakanotta Racing ok and will be running on. Draw hurts and outside first fours chance at best
15 Taliesin in good form but big step up for this. Hard to see him in the money here
16 Kruizr Better last start but draw makes it very hard to win. Prepared to risk from the draw

Race Notes: A ton of gate speed in this field and whoever wins the early battle will go close in this.

Race 2 COMMODORE HOTEL ACE OF CLUBS (2YO C & G) MOBILE TROT (Gr1) $100,000, 2YO COLTS & GELDINGS, 1980m

1 Halberg Has gate speed and good run last start. Has winning claims from the draw
2 Tectonic Form has tapered off but better draw to contend with here. Outside place chance
3 Whats Wanted Good last start and track and distance will suit. Top four chance with luck
4 Monarch Prince Ok against weaker opposition last start. Rough first four hopes here.
5 Cappaha Gate speed but up in grade for this. Hard to see him winning this. Big odds available
6 Maxwell Edison Might head forward early but some here look better. First fours at best
7 Gold Bullion Has been unlucky and can run time. Can go close with any bit of luck from the draw.
8 Southern Diamond Ok last start and has a big motor. Tricky from the draw but needed here.

9 Crown The Moment Will not be able to utilise his high gate speed here. Place chance with luck
10 Switch On Ok win last start but strong field here.
11 Flying Without Wings Manners a big concern and tricky draw. Place chance if he trots all the way
12 Imperial Monarch Ok fresh up but will need all favours to get some money in this. Risking
13 Confessional Tidy run last start in a similar field. Can place again and getting fitter

Race Notes: Gold Bullion looked a bit unlucky in his previous race and will be better out and rolling. He looks the one here with no mistakes.

Race 3 AVON CITY FORD ACE OF DIAMONDS (2YO FILLIES) MOBILE PACE (Gr1) $100,000, 2YO FILLIES, 1980m

1 Secret Delight Should get a good run from the draw but some here are better. Outside chance
2 Millwood Nike Racing well and proven against these fillies. Should be too good from the draw
3 Micaitlen Denario Big jump up in grade for this. Nice filly but looks outclassed here
4 Aardiebytheseaside Racing well in similar fields but hard to see her beating the favourite. Include
5 Forever Me Gate speed and might head forward. Hard to see her winning but top four chance
6 Kahlua Flybye Has run some nice races in similar fields. Can give a sight if she finds the front
7 Sweet Diamond Scratched
8 Luvstruck Wide draw and she has struggled in these types of fields. Prepared to risk from the draw

9 Cardi B  She will get a soft run but some here are better. Leaving for now
10 Treacherous Gall Could get a soft trip on the outer from the draw. Chance in this at longer odds
11 Betta Watch Out Only fair last start and big rise in class. Hard to see her placing. Risking
12 Major Happy Draw will make it very tough to get any money here. Leaving for now

Race Notes: How do they beat Millwood Nike in this? She has the best draw and has won from the front and from the back. Hard to see her rolled in this.

Race 4 PRON8URE PROBIOTIC NEW ZEALAND TROTTING DERBY (MOB TROT) (Gr1) $100,000, 3YO MOBILE, 2600m

1 Hot To Trot Trotting well and has gate speed. Will get the run to suit and is of the major players
2 Con Grazia Love Big run to win last start and will not be overawed in this. Needed here
3 Wy Fi Good win last start but up in grade. Outside place chance at best in this
4 Bennie And The Jets Has struggled against this grade and would need the right trip to place here
5 Mixed Faith Getting fitter but big jump in class here. Prepared to risk in this field
6 Hidden Talent Has been outstanding against her own sex the last couple. Harder here but include
7 Mystic Max  Outside draw not ideal but could surprise with the right trip. Include
8 Roydon Muscle Tricky draw and will go back early. Hard to see him figuring here. Leaving out
9 Masterly Wide draw and grit tracks not his favourite. Outside place chance with luck

10 Highgrove Fence draw might be ok if they go hard all the way. Seeking gaps in the straight
11 Nazareth  Will get a soft run from the draw. Mobile suits and one for longer odds in this
12 Sunny Louis Racing well but his biggest test to date here. Will need all favours to place
13 Latrell Has a bit of a reputation but tricky draw and strong field counts against. Risking
14 Double Delight In good form but draw makes it tough. Can surprise with a cart into the race
15 El Conqueror Racing ok but drawn out the back. Hard to see him winning but can run top four
16 Master Class Scratched

Race Notes: A tricky race to predict with the top trotting fillies meeting the boys off level marks. Times suggest the fillies can make a race of it so an interesting affair.

Race 5 THE CROSSING ACE OF SPADES (2YO C & G) MOBILE PACE (Gr1) $100,000, 2YO COLTS & GELDINGS, 1980m

1 Sherlock Going well in similar fields and drawn best of the favourites. Hard to roll here.
2 Rakamurph Ok last start but strong field. Outside place chance at best in this field
3 Vinke B Out of form and this field stronger than his last few. Outside place chance
4 Carrera Rapido Going only fair and strong field. Possible first four chance
5 Final Collect Has been running better than the form suggests. Can place at longer odds
6 Charlie Brown Ok last start but hard to see him winning this. Outside place chances best
7 Alta Meteor Racing well in similar grade. Wide draw but look s genuine place chance
8 With Style Form only average and wide draw hurts. Some here are better.

9 Da Vinci Big jump in class but could get a cosy run behind the favourite. Could surpise
10 Watermelon Sugar Only fair in this grade and some here are better. Risking for now
11 Don’t Stop Dreaming Can not ignore the form and likely to go forward at some stage. Can win
12 Sinbad Racing well and will be running on. Will need all luck to beat the two stablemates

Race Notes: Sherlock has the best of the draws but no surprise to see Don’t Stop Dreaming come looking mid race. Looks a likely quinella for those two in this

Race 6 CANTERBURY SPA & POOL ACE OF HEARTS (2YO FILLIES) MOB TROT (Gr1) $100,000, 2YO FILLIES MOBILE, 1980m

1 Mavis Jones Great draw but very strong field here. Looks outclassed and risking here
2 The Ivy League Out of form but nice draw and top driver booked. Outside first four chance
3 Shez Bella Rare mistake last start but has travelled a long way for this. Place chance
4 Torvi Ok last start but up in grade and still green. Some here are better so risking for now
5 Walkinonsunshine Good win last start but big rise in class. Outside place chance with luck
6 Show No Fear Likely to head forward early but place chances look best in this field
7 High Energy Unbeaten and should go close to winning this with no mistakes.
8 The Fiery Countess Looks outclassed from the wide draw and prepared to bet against here.

9 Luby Lill Draw against her here but has ability. Could go close to placing with gaps when needed
10 Aroha Kenny Recent racing in Australia was ok. Hard to see her winning but can place
11 Kenny’s Charm  Ok last start but rise in class here. Place chances look best in this
12 Kiss And Run Racing well and one of the better chances to give the favourite a fright in this
13 Regal Girl Ok last start but draw counts against here. Top four chance with luck.
14 Miss Gracie Has been racing ok but will struggle here from the draw. Leaving for now

Race Notes: High Energy looks the best bet of the day and should dominate from the front in this field. Open affair for the minors

Race 7 SUNSHINE STARS NEW ZEALAND DERBY (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1) $250,000, 3YO, 2600m

1 Sporty Charlie Should get a cosy run on the pegs but some here are better. Outside place chance
2 Beach Ball Good in front but not sure he can hold the lead. Winning claims if he does
3 Magic Four Racing well but some here are better. Outside place chance at best
4 Republican Party Will look for an early lead and very hard to run down from the front. Needed
5 Franco Indie Tricky draw for him with gate speed inside. Needs the pace on all the way to threaten
6 Sand Wave Wide draw is against him here. Will need luck to figure in this field.
7 Wheels Of Fortune Racing well but big step up in class and toughest test. Watching for now
8 Akuta Racing well against the best pacers in NZ. Draw hurts but will be thereabouts in this
9 Cyrus Draw means he might have to go back early. Hard to run on against this field.

10 Foveaux Gambler Looks outclassed from the draw. Will need gaps and luck
11 Nicholas Cage Toughest test to date for him here. Nice horse but will struggle in this
12 Here’s Herbie Racing well but hard to see him getting into it from the draw.

Race Notes: An early speed dual looks on from Republican Party and Beach Ball in this with Akuta pressing the issue as well. Should be a competitive race.

Race 8 LIVAMOL NEW ZEALAND TROTTING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE TROT) (Gr1) $100,000, FFA, 1980m

1 Muscle Mountain Big run last start and he has gate speed. Looks the winner in this field
2 Time Up The Hill Big rise in class for this. Looks tested in this field. Risking
3 Oscar Bonavena Races better over the sprint trip but hard to see him beating the favourite
4 Chief Of Staff Only fair in this grade and prepared to risk in this field for now
5 Enghien Goes better behind the mobile and runs the odd bottler over the distance. Rough chance
6 Majestic Man Gate speed to get into the race early. Can capitalise if the favourite makes an error
7 Midnight Dash Always thereabouts in similar fields. Fast pace gives him a top three chance
8 Aardiebythehill Racing consistently but wide draw. Can place but will need luck in the running
9 Five Wise Men Getting fitter with racing and another who can run into the placings with luck
10 Matua Tana Big motor but can make mistakes. Mobile helps but will need to bring manners

Race Notes: Muscle Mountain looks very hard to roll if he can stay in front early. Also gate speed from Majestic Man who has the gas to drop in for a trail if he wants. Those two look the hardest to beat.

Race 9 IRT NEW ZEALAND OAKS (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1) $175,000, 3YO FILLIES, 2600m

1 True Fantasy Draw gives her a big advantage. Should race handy and hard to beat.
2 Fernleigh Blackbird Has gate speed but looks outclassed in this field. Risking today
3 No Matter Wat Massive after a gallop last start. Could surprise with no mistakes
4 Chambray Stable-mates look better here and she will be at longer odds int his. Risking
5 Joes Rock Meets a strong field here and some here are better. Leaving for now.
6 Artisan Ok last start but will need all favours to place in this. Outside first four chance
7 A Bettor You Top driver booked and a nice win last start. This is harder but place claims
8 Miki Montana Wide draw makes it tough for her to get into the race. Place chance with luck
9 Queen Of Diamonds Fast filly with a tricky draw to contend with. Winning claims but luck needed

10 Dance Till Dawn Should get a cosy run on the pegs. One for longer odds in this field
11 Anna Love Might not get a start in this. Risking
12 Lady Of The Light Good run last start and drawn to get a run through early. Place chance here
13 Obsession High speed filly who will be running on late in this. Luck needed to place
14 Classie Linc Looks to be outclassed in this field. Leaving for now
15 Coachella Unlikely to get a start and outclassed here.
16 Snow Robyn Tricky draw and will need luck to get into the race. Risking

Race Notes: True Fantasy looks hard to beat from the draw especially if she can hold the lead. The race could be a procession if she does but an open race if she gets crossed at the start.

Race 10 EAST WEST FENCING SUMMER CUP FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE PACE) (Gr3) $30,000, 4YO & OLDER FFA, 1980m

1 Evangalist Hard to see her beating some of these. Risking for now.
2 Got You Covered Ok last couple but a big rise in class. Leaving for now.
3 Heza Sport Has not had a lot of luck in recent starts. Not the worst at longer odds
4 Cranbourne Races best when in front and could head forward early. Place chance with no attackers
5 Henry Hubert Hard to see him getting into the finish against some of these. Risking for now
6 B D Joe Good run last start and high gate speed will help him here. Chance if he can find the front
7 Krug Has been out of luck in recent starts but better suited here. Place chance if they go hard early
8 Spankem Gate speed but not sure he can cross them here. Will be running on in this
9 Self Assured Big run against similar opposition last start. Looks hardest to beat in this field

Race Notes: Purdon/Cullen stable hold the key to this race with their big guns drawn wide against two fast beginners in Cranbourne and B D Joe. Possibly a leader dominated race.
