WASHINGTON, PA, Dec. 20, 2022 — Uptown Callie (Betterthancheddar) rallied from worst to first through the stretch and pulled off the 8-1 upset in Tuesday’s (Dec. 20) harness racing feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,000 Filly & Mare Claiming Pace.
Uptown Callie trailed by 4-1/2 lengths heading into the final turn when Brady Brown showed her racetrack. The 5-year-old Mid Town caught VH Princess Brea in deep stretch and downed her by a neck in 1:54, with Priceless Shadow a closing third.
