DAYTON, OH. – Indiana harness racing invader Somebodyslilly (Time To Roll) and driver Lewayne Miller earned a hard fought narrow 1:52.1 victory in Hollywood Dayton’s $25,000 Open Handicap Pace on Thursday (Dec. 22).
After cutting the entire mile, the five-year-old mare barely held off Marloe Hanover (Brett Miller) and Alexa Skye (Mitch Cushing), stablemates in the Virgil Morgan Jr. barn, in a thrilling stretch duel. She won by a neck and paid $5.80 to win. It was the fourth seasonal win for Somebodyslilly in 17 starts, raising the winner’s 2022 earnings to $63,409 for owner-trainer Eli Schwartz. Her career bankroll has swelled to $345,649.
