Kiwi-owned harness racing filly Amore Vita (Art Major) has taken out the $130,000 Vicbred Super Series Final for 3YO Fillies tonight (Dec. 31) at Tabcorp Park Melton.
Amore Vita had to be the best in the race as driver Chris Alford had her positioned outside hot favourite and leader Encipher during the running and wore that filly down just short of the post.
The winner rated 1:54:6 for the 2240m event, with a sizzling last 800m in 54.1 seconds.
Emma Stewart trained the winner and also trained the first six fillies home in the race.
