Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 1:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Barrytown (11) Normally ok from a stand and Good second last start. Needed here
Lucinda Hest (12) Driver change might help here and improving trotter with speed. Include
Matthew Eyre (1) Manners not great but has speed and mobile an assist. Could surprise

Race 2

Michael Caine (3) Raced well against strong opposition last campaign. Hard to beat here
Montoya (8) Fresh up second was good and worked too hard last start. Can run top three
Watch That Man (9) Might have the gate speed to lead here and a good chance if he does. 

Race 3

Jezebel (3) Has been disappointing but better than that. Chance to redeem herself in this
Misskcmack (1) Good draw and should race handy. Winning claims in this field
Divine Angel (14) Tricky draw but big at trials. Good chance with a cart into the race

Race 4

Ruby’s A Delight (11) Will be better for the last start run and has been unlucky. Needed
Bondi Lustre (8) Likely to go forward early and hard to beat if she can find the front
Hilda Maud (1) Nice draw and has been trialing well. Should race handy here. Include

Race 5

Ti Amo Belle (10) Tricky draw but good win last start. Winning claims with luck here
Spy Da Moment (9) Getting back to full fitness and weaker field here. Can out tough them
Sonoma Tyron (3) Back in winning form and might go on with it here. Pay to put in here

Race 6

Absolute Dynamite (5) Underrated pacer who will get his chance here. Hard to beat
Hidden Desire (4) Good beginner who will race handy. Winning claims with luck
He’s Tough (9) Wider draw but he is steady and will be put in the race. Needed here.

Race 7

Dancing Desire (6) Racing well and can go forward off the gate. One of the major players
Theresa Love (8) Has run some good races against strong fields. Winning claims in this
Tremendous Lover (4) Coming in fresh but will be stronger now. Can find form quickly

Race 8

A Bettor You (9) Speedy mare who can overcome the wide draw with luck. Needed
Glorys Delight (3) Gets a nice draw to work with and strong last start. Can win again
Acento (2) Gate speed to lead early here and can stick on for a top three finish

Race 9

Tres Magnifique (9) Out of form but better than that and top driver booked. Can surprise
Buffy Northstains (13) Tough draw but has the speed if the manners are there. Put in
Hanover Da Moon (8) Slightly down on form but better last start. Can spice up the exotics

Race 10

No Terror (7) Has speed and might push the go button early. Good winning chance here
South Seas Rock (3) Up in grade but good win last start. Should go close here from the draw
Deja Blue (1) Has the gate speed to lead early here and getting fitter. One for longer odds
