Fort Washington, MD — Live harness racing action returns to Rosecroft Raceway on Thursday, January 19, with the usual 7:15 p.m. post time.
Racing will be held on Tuesday’s and Thursdays through April 27, before switching to a Tuesday’s and Saturday schedule, closing out the Winter – Spring meet on May 20.
Pre-meet qualifiers will be held on Wednesday, January 11, and the following Tuesday, January 17. Please enter the day before by 9:00 a.m. The track will also be open for training on those days from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The first draw is on Saturday, January 14. The entry box closes at 9:00 a.m.
An early race Pick-4 has now been added to the wagering menu starting in race two. Race seven starts the Pick 5 which offers an industry low 12 percent takeout. Race 10’s popular Jackpot Hi 5 wager is returning after producing a payout pool of over $100,000 on closing night of the 2022 Winter meet.
