Embrace The Grind sounded the alarm and stormed to the front early. Northern Express landed in the pocket. Highland Mowgli left from the outside and found a spot in the third position.

Embrace The Grind set the tempo with a sizzling :27 flat opening quarter.  He passed the half in a relaxing :55.4 (28.4).

The 6/5 betting favorite, Muscle Dynasty and driver Corey Callahan motored from fourth past the half and charged first over down the back stretch.

Embrace The Grind and Muscle Dynasty were on even terms and passed the three quarters in 1:24.1 (:28.2).

Muscle Dynasty cleared for the lead at the top of the stretch. Embrace The Grind weakened and allowed Northern Express to maneuver off the pylons.

Northern Express attacked late in the lane, but failed.  Muscle Dynasty flexed his muscles and won by three quarters of a length in 1:53. He was able to lower his previous mark of 1:53.2 held last week and paid $4.40 to win.
