Hanna des Molles, Horsy Dream Gr, I Winners

The Prix des Centaures (Gr. I monte, purse 240,000€, 2175 meters distance handicap for 4-6 year olds) started today’s top level Vincennes harness racing action.

Here the 25-meter handicapped Hanna des Molles scored in 1.11.2kr for jockey Alexandre Abrivard and owner J.L. Beraud.

The L.C. Abrivard trainee now has 11 career victories for 890,820€ earned. Joyeuse (4f First de Retz) was two lengths back second for owner/trainer Mathieu Mottier with third to 25-meter handicapped Ina du Rib (5f Uhlan de Val) with jockey J.L.Cl. Dersoir in the irons for Ecurie Rib and trainer Joel Hallais. Happy And Lucky and Historia Kat completed the top five.

The Prix du Plateau de Gravelle (Gr. III, purse 90,000€,  2100 meters autostart, 4-11 year olds International) was the first Gr. III event on the undercard and the 1.10.3kr timed winner was 4.4/1 Emeraude de Bais (9f Repeat Love-Haute Tension) with Franck Nivard up for trainer Benjamin Goetz.

The Herve Carlus owner mare now has 16 career wins for 503,850€ earned. Usain Toll (7g Googoo Gaagaa) held second for Alexandre Abrivard and trainer Gennaro Casillo at 11/1 odds. Elite de Jiel (9f Niky) was third for Francois Legadeuc at 12/1.

Dexter Chatho and Capital Mail completed the top five in this one. Beads led the field into the lane on the outer and made a pressured miscue for his dq.

The Prix de Selection (Gr. I, purse 240,000€, 2175 meters distance handicap, 4-6 year olds) was a dandy race that 4.9/1 Horsy Dream (6m Scipion du Goutier-Bonanza du Closet) won in 1.12.5kr with Eric Raffin aboard, he just returning from injury. 

Pierre Bellloche trains this now 15-time winner of 549,470€ that Ecurie du Closet owns.  He also overcame a 25-meter handicap to defeat 12/1 Juliet Papa Bravo (4f Ready Cash) with owner/trainer Mathieu Mottier at the lines.

Placed third was 81/1 odds and 25 meter handicapped Idylle Speed (5f Carat Williams) with Franck Nivard up.

The third finishing Joyner Sport was an interference dq in the stretch.

The Prix Henri Desmontils (Gr. III, purse 90,000€, monte for 5-11 year old International eligibles) put a wrap on today’s Paris  upper level undercard with the 1.12.6kr timed victory earned by even-money favorite Granvillaise Bleus (7f Jag de Bellouet-Lady de Brevol).

Camille Levesque was the winning jockey for trainer Pierre Levesque and breeder/owner Michel Gallier.

The winner now has 11 career wins good for 1,1162,260€ earned. Camille the waiting game in this race and escaped late for charging victory.

The 11/1 odds Django Bocage (10g Real de Lou) was second for jockey Alexandre Abrivard and trainer Stephane Meunier.

Third to the line was 5.7/1n Clegs des Champs (11g Legs du Clos) handled by David Thomain. Etoile de Bruyere at 24/1 and Hirondelle du Rib at 4.8/1 completed the top five.
