It took nearly four years to finally reach a decision on a 2019 fraudulent claim case in New Jersey in which case the NJ Racing Commission agreed with the judges and voided the claim of the harness racing horse by Doreen Dailey, who was fined $1,000 and received a ten-day suspension. The incident took place on April 20, 2019, and was finalized on March 21, 2023. Not even the Charlie May case took that long.
In other news, trainer Erv Miller’s horse, Rockin Marty A, was found to be positive at the Meadowlands for Phenylbutazone. Miller has been fined $500 and received a 15-day full suspension.
