Tomorrow is the big day!

Saturday (April 8) is the big day of harness racing awards at the Gala des Champions at the Hippodrome de Trois-Rivières in Quebec.

Track manager François Carignan had promised a full house and that is exactly what will happen in a few hours. An important gathering if ever there was one, the Gala is a wonderful opportunity for horse people to come together. First, of course, to highlight the merits of the big winners of the 2022 season, but also simply for the pleasure of fraternizing and launching in a way the season that will open very soon, on Sunday, April 30.

As usual, track announcer Guy Lafontaine will be at the animation and in confidence, he assured to reserve to those present beautiful surprises. Another great news, not to be overlooked, is Quebec Jockey Club Director Sophie Mongeon, who will assist him this year. She will certainly know how to put in her grain of salt and give a special color to the event.

As everyone knows, the first part of the gala has always been used to highlight the merits of the foals, fillies who stood out last summer, as much in the events of the Future Stars Series as in those of the Breeders Trophy Series and the Lucien-Bombardier Filly Pace. These winners are obviously known and to refresh your memory, here is the list.
