Oak Grove requiring current EIA (Coggins) test

If you are bringing horses onto the Oak Grove property, it is required by the state of Kentucky that they have a current EIA (Coggins) test dated within the last 12 months and a health paper for each animal entering.

For out of state horses, the health paper must be dated within the last 3 days (72 hours) and for in-state horses, within the last 10 days. The health papers must also show that the horses have received the EHV vaccine within the last 6 months.

It’s important to make sure that you have physical copies of these documents, as no digital copies will be accepted. When you arrive at the stable gate with your trailer, you will need to present these documents before you may enter.

If you are shipping horses to Oak Grove to stay overnight, they must be in to race or qualify. If you need to overnight your horses, you must call and reserve a stall by 5pm CST on Thursday before the races. Stalls are extremely limited, so it’s important to reserve them as soon as possible to ensure that you have a place for your horses to stay. Do not ship horses to Oak Grove without contacting the Track @ 270-984-4310.
