It has been reported by Norwegian site trav365.no that Beads (Archangel-Nepentha) is on the way back to the USA as the harness racing trotting horse keeps breaking stride on European 5/8 mile tracks.
Beads has started 12 times in Europe, five of those on Scandinavian 5/8-tracks. Every single time the horse has broke stride, the latest Wednesday at the Bjerke track in Oslo, Norway.
Now the ownership duo has decided to return the horse to North America where he will compete on longer tracks more to the horse.
Before leaving the USA for Europe, Beads had earned $643,235 with a record of 4,1:50.2m. He has had issues with breaking stride throughout his career.
According to the article, Beads will be trained by Ake Svanstedt in the USA.
