Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Harness Analyst thoughts

Race 1

Shapely (6) Has looked good at trials and trainer in hot form. Has to rate highly here
Tara Victory (8) Nice trial win recently. Tricky draw but a chance for a top three finish
Chemmy (2) Gets a better draw to work with and going ok. Could sneak a place here.

Race 2

Captain Meister (1) Gets a good draw to work with and has looked good at trials. Needed
Storyteller (12) Horrible draw but debut run suggests good enough to overcome it. Include
Lewey Maguire (8) Drawn wide but ok last start at Addington. Will improve and can place

Race 3

Robyns Shadow (4) Has been freshened for this. Winning claims if he goes forward early
Beautiful Noise (15) Change of trainer and she has ability. Could surprise in a fresh condition
Rightazz (1) Has a nice inside draw and very unlucky last start. One of the major players

Race 4

Master Class (1) Manners iffy but has the speed to beat these with luck in running.
Dwindle Star (4) Quick beginner who might lead early. Can stick on for a placing
Elizabeth Hill (8) Untouched to win last start but big jump in class. Go again here

Race 5

Vessem (8)  Should be hard to beat after winning first two starts against similar fields.
Major Hot (2) Finished well for second last start. This field not much stronger. Needed
Raklou (4) Has a heap of speed based on trial win. Might make the race interesting

Race 6

Sweet Diamond (10) Drawn badly but in a rich vein of form. Top selection in this field
Black Pearl (4) Tough win last start. Will race handy and can run top three here.
Treacherous Gall (8) Wide draw but can finish strongly. Should go close to placing.

Race 7

Ohoka Connor (1) Drawn well and tough to hold out if he leads. Can remain unbeaten
Captain Tom (9) Tracks the favourite and has a big motor. Will be running on in this
Da Vinci (4) Gate speed and could be the leader. Not sure the distance suits but include

Race 8

Wheels Of Fortune (3) Drawn best of the favourites and hard to run down if he leads.
Cya Art (5) Good enough to get a slice of the money here with a good run in transit
Boudica (2) Quick beginner who should get a good run on the pegs. One for longer odds

Race 9

Arnies Army (10) Better run last start and should get a run from the draw. Winning claims
Magic Sign (3) Good draw and top driver booked. Can go close in this with luck in running
Seabreeze Solitaire (2) Gate speed to hold the front and will not be disgraced in this field. 

Race 10

Streaming Live (3) Good second last start and the likely leader. Top three chance again
Simone Lindenny (10) Coming in off the back of a good win and trotting well. Win chance
Cody Banner (2) Has raced well on course and better on speed. Addington second was good

Race 11

Hurricane Hendrix (5) Good in a stronger field last start and drawn to be a major player.
Miki Knows (13) Tricky draw but can loop them and run top three here. Top driver booked.
Jovial Jay (10) First look at the course but has finishing speed. Good chance with gaps.
