ALBANY, N.Y.—The Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund is now accepting harness racing yearling nominations for No. 64 foals of 2022 to compete in the 2024 and 2025 New York Sire Stakes racing programs. Nominations may only be accepted for foals registered with the Fund and those that meet the state requirements for New York harness racing.
Accepted nominations will qualify two-year-old foals in 2024 and three-year-old foals in 2025, for all three levels of New York harness racing programs: New York Sire Stakes, Excelsior Series and County Fair. Future payments are required to secure a spot in that year’s races.
Nominations for eligible yearlings must be received by the Fund no later than May 15, 2023. The nomination form and eligibility requirements can be found by clicking here.
For nominations to be accepted, they must be accompanied by proof of registration and the $50 nomination fee made payable to the Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund.
