SFR $5,000 Spring Raffle is underway

Cream Ridge, NJ -5/9/2023 – The Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s (SRF) annual spring harness racing raffle to win $5,000 is underway!

This fundraiser provides for the challenge SRF faces to offer rest so desperately needed after these horses pound the oval for years then go on to the physical demands in the rural areas. Rest means time, and for horses it means hay, grain, veterinary care, a place to stand in a field, hoof care and someone to provide these because they cannot care for themselves. The proceeds from this fundraiser will make this possible. Providing care for 520 trotters is a staggering number.

SRF is different from any other organization. Its mission provides lifetime follow-up for its adopted horses. SRF is a Best Practices for Adoption Programs for Lifetime Welfare organization. Today 520 trotters and pacers are under SRF’s expense, support is very much needed.
