Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:05pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Sweet Soul Sister (8) Good run last start for second but tricky draw. Needs luck but can win
Mucho Fuerte (1) Ok run last start and draw a big assist. Should go well here
Judaque (5) Much better run last start and she has some speed. Chance with luck in running

Race 2

Gronkowski (4) Drawn to lead and looks hard to run down based on recent races. Needed
Jordy (1) Could get a cosy run on the pegs here. Can run top three with luck in this
Cast A Shadow (9) Had excuses last start and better than the form suggests. Include here

Race 3

Abacardi Hazel (4) Top driver booked and only needs manners to go well here. Needed
Johns Boy (8) Horse in good form and always steps well. Good chance for top three
Majesdix (9) Getting better with racing. Will need to step and run but has winning claims

Race 4

Mydadtheterror (3) Good draw and top driver aboard. Will race handy and can win
Boston Tea Party (1) Has been racing better fields and could get a soft run. Could surprise
Better Be Watching (6) Decent third last start and should be improved for this. Include

Race 5

Beautiful Noise (6) Gets a front line draw and likely to head forward. Big chance in this
El Sirrar (8) Good second last start. Has to rate highly on natural improvement. Needed
Robyns Shadow (5) Disappointing last start but much better than that. Give another chance

Race 6

Rakadan (1) Drawn to race handy and can run time. Top selection in this field
Arnies Army (4) Normally runs a good solid race. Can run top three if back to his best
Whata Razzle Dazzle (8) Drawn wide but has gate speed. One for longer odds in this

Race 7

Dont Ask (3) Ran on ok last start and up to beating this field. Good winning chance
Jordan Anne (5) Should get a run through early. One for longer odds in this field
Miss Jessica (1) Inside draw and will try to lead at some stage. Not the worst

Race 8

Rightazz (5) Drawn ok and in form. Has the ability to go close in this field. Needed
Magnetic Beckers (7) Better last start and will be running on here. Wide draw hurts
Quaddie VC (3) Has gate speed and could try to go forward here. Can go close

Race 9

Precious Belle (2) Disappointing last start but well drawn here. Good winning chance
Tennessee Honey (9) Draw can be a bit iffy but has ability. Win chance with any gaps
Morries Girl (11) Tricky draw but good enough to overcome it. Will be running on here
