Majorca N takes no prisoners in Mares Open

HARRINGTON, DE – Michael Casalino Jr. and Dylan Davis’ Majorca N (Art Major) and driver Corey Callahan were a 1:53.1 winner in the harness racing featured $20,000 Mares Open Tuesday (May 30) at Harrington Raceway.

The 8-year-old mare and Dylan Davis-trainee took no prisoners on the front end early, where she would stay en route to an open length win over Feeling Sweet and My Kiwi Lady N. It was the 3rd win of the year for Majorca N, who was one of the top aged pacing mares in North American last season, when she banked $248,760 in just 23 starts. She paid $10.80 to win Tuesday.

Montrell Teague had 5 wins on the card, including a pair each for trainer Clyde Francis and Chuck Crissman Jr. Jason Thompson, Ross Wolfenden and Pat Berry each had a double.
