Joxter (Chapter Seven) and driver Dan Daley and Prairie Panther (Royel Millennium) and driver Ridge Warren won the harness racing co-features on Sunday (June 11) at Tioga Downs.
Joxter ($2.80) easily wins the $11,000 Open 2 Trot.

Creekside Pete (Corey Braden) went to the front and led to the quarter in :28.0. Lucky Sevens (Steeven Genois) challenged for the lead all the way to the half. Creekside Pete got to the half first in :56.0. Joxter made his move down the backstretch and overtook Creekside Pete. Joxter first to three-quarters in 1:26.0.
As they made the turn for home Joxter left the rest of the field in another zip code winning easily in 1:54.2. Hunting As (Tyler Miller) finished second. Hall It Off (Brandon Parker) was third.
JOXTER REPLAY
Joxter is a 5-year-old gelding trained by Dan Daley and owned by Ann-Mari Daley. It was his second win this season he now has 21 career victories.
Prairie Panther ($5.40) captures the $11,000 Open 2 Pace.

Prairie Panther went right to the front and led to the quarter in :26.4. He uses a :29.3 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.2. He cruised to three-quarters in 1:23.3.
As they reached the stretch KJ Michael (Jim Taggert) came hard after the lead. Prairie Panther dug in and held on to win in 1:52.0. KJ Michael had to settle for second. Ilikemebetter A (Mike Merton) finished third.
Prairie Panther is a 9-year-old gelding owned by trainer Mike Deters and Joel Warner. It was his fourth win this season and his 66th career victory.
