Grove City, OH – Five divisions of three-year-old filly pacers will hit the track on Thursday night, June 22 at Scioto Downs, searching for a harness racing win in the third leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series. A total of $100,000 will be on the line with each division being $20,000.
Previous leg winners High Flyin’ Filly (Domethatagain), Onederfulbeach (Beachtrea), and Racing For Three (Western Terror) are entered.
In the second division, Onederfulbeach is 4-1 morning line and has post two. The filly won the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion series at Northfield Park on May 27. Aaron Merriman will have the lines for owner, trainer Chris Beaver. Out of seven starts, she has hit the board 6 times, with two wins, two places, and two shows. Earning $23,950 so far this season.
Somewherunderheavn (Noble Hill High) is the early favorite at 5-2 in the second division for trainer Steve Carter and driver Austin Hanners. Out of 15 starts, the filly has hit the board 14 times. Bankrolling $64,575 in 2023.
High Flyin’ Filly and Racing For Three will compete head-to-head in the fourth division of the Buckeye Stallion
Series.
The early favorite at 5-2 is High Flyin’ Filly from post 8. Chris Page has the assignment for trainer Ron
Burke. Out of 15 starts for the season, the filly has hit the board 14 times and has earned $69,379 so far this season. She captured the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series at Northfield Park on May 27.

Two of the previous leg winners, Angel Hill and Apple Martini are not entered in the third leg of the Buckeye
