Kioti (Mystician) destroyed his harness racing opponents for his third consecutive victory at Century Downs on Friday (Jun. 23).
The stallion made a beeline for the outside from the second tier for Michael Hennessy and secured command just before the quarter in :27.3. He hit the half in :57.1 and edged away nearing three-quarters in 1:25.3 while first-over challenger Sharkas Lil Lad (David Kelly) stalled. Kioti pulled away on the final turn and ran up the score down the lane, winning by nine-and-three-quarter lengths in 1:53.3. Sharkas Lil Lad finished second.

Kioti has won his past three starts by open lengths. The four-year-old is now seven-for-14 lifetime and has earned $32,931. Douglas Stout trains the stallion for owner/breeder Derek Stout of Camrose.
Hennessy won two more races to be the dayās top driver.
