Oamaru trainer Matthew Williamson heads north tomorrow night (Jul. 7) with a team of five for harness racing action at Addington Raceway.

In the first race, seven race winner Boarding Call (American Ideal) draws barrier two and this looks like a winnable race for her.
“It’s a very nice race for her and she drops into it well. It was a very good run the other day and she’s coming back into form. From the draw I’d like to think she’d be hard to beat in that race,” Williamson said.
The form around Vinchetto (Vincent) in Race Two is excellent. From two starts he’s recorded a second and a third and draws two on the second row on Friday night.
“He let us down the other day but it was probably just the wet track which took his speed away. He draws two, the second line so hopefully he’ll get a drag through. It’s his first race against the better class of maidens but that said I’d like to think he was an each way chance.”
Williamson has two runners in Race Six, Dem Bones Dem Bones (Monkey Bones) and Winning Bones (Monkey Bones).
Aged grey trotter Dem Bones Dem Bones charged home at her last start at Winton.

“Really good run at her last start but a really bad drive and she should have gone close to winning that race. Being off the front should mean she gets a nice trip and should be a good place chance.”
Seven year old gelding Winning Bones just battled in his last start at Winton. He generally steps well and has won three races, two of them over 2600 metres at Addington.

“He was very disappointing the other day. I’m just putting it down to track. I think this is a very winnable race for him and he’s probably the best chance of the team on the night.”
Sweet Treat (Sweet Lou) is new to the Williamson barn and draws one in a small field in Race Ten.
“In my eyes she’s been going good races. It’s just a matter of getting a trip with her and we’re lucky to come up with the plum draw. So if she gets a trip she could surprise a few. She looks like an each way chance as well.”
