Tijuana Seelster (Muscle Mass), riding a four-race win streak, spotted the harness racing field 12 lengths and won her fifth in a row by four-and-a-quarter at Grand River Raceway on Wednesday (Jul. 5).
The mare, driven by Colin Kelly, trailed to the quarter in :27.3 and moved to the outside nearing the half in :58. She caught cover third-over, rode it into the backstretch, and swung three-wide going to three-quarters in 1:27.3.
Tijuana Seelster sped past the rest of her rivals on the homeward turn, surging to the top by the top of the lane. She drew off further to complete the romp in 1:57.
Shesundertheradar (Samuel Fillion) cut the first three panels and finished second. Lucas NL (Brett MacDonald) was third.

Tijuana Seelster is now eight-for-19 this year and 10-for-35 lifetime. Jacob Roberts trains the mare, a lifetime earner of $71,269, for Triple S Equine of Newton.
