Thunder Alley (Mystery Chase) took the top pace at Northside Downs on Saturday (Jul. 8) in a wire-to-wire harness racing effort.
The gelding, driven by John Kennedy, controlled the tempo to :28.1, :58.1, and 1:27.3. No challenge came, and he stretched his advantage out to three lengths turning for home. Revenant (Shawn Lynk) gained on him down the stretch, but Thunder Alley was home and dry in the late stages and finished a length-and-a-half clear in 1:56. Revenant was second. Dontblvmejustwatch (Randy Getto) was five further lengths back in third.
