SUMMERSIDE, PE – Starship Beauty (Arthur Blue Chip) left Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway with a new speed badge Wednesday evening (Jul. 12) in her career harness racing debut as the fastest two-year-old of the 2023 Atlantic Sires Stakes season.
The filly circled from last to win her $11,620 Atlantic Sires Stakes A-division for rookie pacing fillies in 2:00.1 ahead of second place Timberlea Lady (Driven by Jaycob Sweet) with Downtown Tonight (Brodie MacPhee) finishing third. Patrick Shepherd supplied the winning drive behind Starship Beauty for trainer Kyle Williams and owner Dads Without Abs Stable of Fredericton, P.E.I.

Goodmorning Nova (Arthur Blue Chip) won the second A-division in 2:01.4 in line to Corey MacPherson for trainer Duane MacEachern and owners Melissa Banks and Jason Williams. Second went to Shesjusmsundrstood (Jason Hughes) while Zendayas Firstlady (Adam Merner) was third.
GOODMORNING NOVA REPLAY
Fern Hill Indigo (Malicious) went all the way in the final $11,620 division with a front-stepping 2:01 victory for driver MacPhee, trainer Tom Weatherbie and owner Next Generation Stable of Stratford. Sensational Gal (Merner) captured second ahead of Worth Repeating (Bernard McCallum).

The $4,000 B-divisions were won by Rosieallover (Hilarious Halo, Merner) in 2:01.4 for trainer Ken Wilkie and Rollwithitdarling (Rollwithitharry, Gilles Barrieau) for trainer Devon Wallace.
The inaugural leg of the P.E.I. Colt Stakes Graduate Series was also featured on the evening with the $4,200 Mares divisions, presented by JD Marine & Diving Inc., won by Maggiesdelight (Steelhead Hanover, MacPherson) in 1:55.1 for trainer Michelle Myers and Glenview Rhonda (Immachulate, Dale Spence) in 1:56.2 for trainer Adam Johnston. The $4,200 Horse and Gelding divisions, presented by Kays Wholesale, saw victories by Mr Rielly (Steelhead Hanover, MacPherson) in 1:56.4 from his own stable and Pictonian I Am (Western Paradise, Ken Murphy) in 1:55 for trainer Robert Phillips.
